Pizza Box Card
Frances W in Raleigh, NC was looking for measurements for a Pizza Box. Allison B was kind enough to post them to our online group for NC Demos and I thought it looked really interesting. Then, as luck would have it, MJ Albright came up with the idea of a card on a box…so they wouldn’t separate and get lost…so I thought….hmmmm….and came up with this:
Personally, I think it is really cute and it a very nice size for chocolate or any small gift. The box sized finished is 4″ x 4″ and has a height of 1″.
The box itself was super easy to make. First, score a 6″ x 11″ piece of cs stock sideways at 1″ - 5″ - 6″ - 10″.
Turn 90 degrees and score at 1″ - 5″ - *A quick note here…a fellow NCDemo, Sharon M gave me a great hint when scoring your paper. Before pulling down to score the paper, at the top, score up then down and you avoid “snagging” your paper.
Once you’ve scored your paper, cut the score lines of the 1″ - 5″ - 6″ - 10″ to the 1″ mark on each side.
To finish my box, which I did in whisper white, I folded a 4″ x8″ piece of SU’s new In Color Pacific Point in half and adhered to the top of the box and layered that with a piece of 3 3/4″ square of whisper white. I stamped three lovely butterflies from the Priceless set as well as one heart from Priceless on whisper white and punched out with the scallop punch then adhered those to 1 3/4″ squares of Pacific Point.
PS: Those cute little pearl and diamond accents? *Sigh* - Walmart….
